Op 2 november kan onze pooljeugd in CUES & DARTS deelnemen aan stop 8 van de EPBF Youth Tour. Met een entry fee van €30 en een mogelijke kwalificatie voor de Masters (top twee kwalificeren zich), is dit een mooie stap op weg naar de titel “EPBF Youth Tour Champion 2024”.

Contactpersoon Awin Sewgobind: "Een tijdje terug kwam ik tijdens het SmartPool Europe project in gesprek met mensen van het EPBF die plannen hadden een Eurotour reeks voor jeugdspelers te organiseren, maar dan laagdrempelig en snel implementeerbaar door bestaande poolzalen te gebruiken (in tegenstelling tot de "grote mensen" Eurotour, waarbij de speellocaties steeds op- en afgebouwd worden).”
“Ik heb toen aangegeven dat wij ook graag hieraan meedoen en nu het is eindelijk zo ver: in het tweede jaar van het EPBF Youth Tour is er ook een stop in Nederland, namelijk in Cues and Darts Tilburg. Deze locatie hebben we gekozen vanwege de goede ervaringen met de (jeugd) NK's en eredivisiewedstrijden. Eerdere stops zijn dit jaar geweest in Zweden (Stockholm), Estland (Tallinn) en Bulgarije (Petrich). We zijn trots om Nederland aan die lijst toe te voegen."

Voor welke leeftijd?
Boys U17 and Girls U19 can participate in the youth tour. Boys & girls will play in the same event.
Event format:
Double elimination and single elimination last 8. If more than 32 participants, single elimination from the last 16. Top 2 will advance to the Masters tournament (7-8 December).
9-ball race to 5-7 (depending on number of tables & participants). The decision on the races will be set after announcement deadlines close.
EPBF sports regulations will be used in the event.

Kwalificatie-event voor Masters:
Top 2 from each stop will receive a spot in the “Masters event” played on 7-8 December 2024. No players will be seeded. Total number of athletes in the Masters will be 16.
EPBF will cover the costs for accommodation for all participants in the final event for one night in a shared double room.
Top 4 of the Masters tournament will receive 2 free wild cards each for EPBF Euro Tour events in 2025 and the winner will be crowned the “EPBF Youth Tour Champion 2024”.
