Het openingsevent van het Dynamic Billard EK Pool 2022 heeft voor Nederland de eerste medaille opgeleverd.
Niels Feijen ging op het EK in Slovenië als een stoomwals door het 14.1 straightpool! Zoals hij zelf vertelt in het interview: het liep lekker, met enkele prachtige series. Na ongekende veegpartijen bij de laatste 16 & laatste 8 was de halve finale tegen Joshua Filler helaas het eindstation. Maar dat betekent sowieso al de eerste medaille in the pocket, plus de felbegeerde A-status.
Niels na afloop: "Very happy with a nice bronze medal in the European Championships 14.1 Played my best game with 4 x 100ball runs, 79 and an 87 in 8 matches. Today I had 3 x 100 ball runs in a row, which is the best I can play. Just fell a hair short vs. Filler in the semis 125-100."
Inmiddels zijn de spelers alweer begonnen aan de tweede discipline: het 10-ball.
